TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

To the Buyer: FREE POSTING All items listed offer free UK postage and packaging. Where necessary within the listing will be the means of dispatch by Courier or Royal Mail    . All items will be otherwise despatched using Royal Mail    . If the item is large, bulky or heavy; Collection in Person from the Warwickshire/East Midlands area, will be requested. The Total shown in the sale price is the full amount to be paid by the Buyer. Once receipt of payment has been made - your purchase will be sent or as in the case of collection, a contact name and details will be forwarded. Please confirm any alternative UK address for delivery of your item de-clutterbug@live.com if postage required to destination other than to the buyer.

Overseas Buyer Information: Where multiple purchases are made the postage and packaging costs will be taken into consideration eg Items of clothing 40p per additional item for overseas buyer. 

Collection Information for the Buyer: If the item is large, bulky or heavy or if the Buyer is able to collect their purchase(s): Collection in Person, from Warwickshire/East Midlands area, will be requested. In the case of collection a contact name and details will be forwarded once payment for the item(s) has been received. Postage will be deducted from the purchase price. Proof of purchase/identity may be requested on collection of the item.

Additional Services to the Buyer:  If additional security is required for the item by the Buyer please notify De-Clutterbug  who will adjust the amount to be paid accordingly, though items of value will be dispatched Special Delivery or similar.

Returns and Refunds: If the Buyer is not satisfied with the purchase(s) for any reason. Postage will be paid by De-Clutterbug for the return of the goods if instigated. A full refund inclusive of additional postage will be made on receipt. Please state, if possible, your reason for returning the item(s).   

Payment Methods: De-Clutterbug accepts payment via Google Secure Card, Paypal, Cheque, Postal Order or Cash.

1) When paying by cheque please allow clearance before dispatch.

2) Check with post office or bank secure methods of sending cash as guarantee can not be given by De-Clutterbug.

3) Once initial receipt of payment has been received De-Clutterbug will email Buyer of confirmation of order and delivery details. 

Notes for the Buyer: First Come First Serve Policy but if the item to be purchased is not paid for within a reasonable time then the item will be relisted. Notification will be received by the Buyer that the item has been relisted by De-Clutterbug. If the item has an interested second or third party please leave your details to notify you that the item has been relisted for purchasing at the original listed value.

Email Addresses. Personal Details, Contact Details, Client Details, Buyer Details: Will not be shared unless within advertising on the Friends Page with Links. De-Clutterbug does not keep an address mailing list and the email address data is retained only for the purpose of business interaction, notification of De-Clutterbug offers and similar, with customers.

Subscription: 

The ‘subscriber station’ has now been re-worded; Participate and Join, as some, quite understandably, felt that financial and personal details were required. Please be assured De-Clutterbug will not be using any information given in this area which requests only an email address, name and password. The benefits to ‘Participate and Join’ gives open access for the subscriber to comment, blog, join the forum. (This does not affect Buyer’s status who can purchase without joining.)

Measurements: All sizes given should be taken as copied from labels or approximate measurements.

Client Information: De-Clutterbug lists items with consent by the Client. All details given within the listings are believed to be true by both parties. De-Clutterbug recommends checks are made by the client, especially where valuables and antiques are concerned, that the valuations are appropriate. De-Clutterbug confirms that items sold are based on agreed costing. Should the item at a later date prove to be of greater value, than the sold or purchase price by the buyer, then De-Clutterbug disclaims any liability for loss of monies. If the Client, since listing the item, decides that their item listed should have any alteration to the sale price or that additional information should be given within the listing to assist the Buyer in their purchase, please contact De-Clutterbug immediately so that changes can be verified and made. De-Clutterbug reminds Clients that the For Sale valuation given on each item listed includes postage, packaging and 25% fee.   

Guestbook: The Guestbook is open for visitors to make comments, primarily on the visited site of De-Clutterbug, but occasionally visitors my point others to their sites. De-Clutterbug can not take any responsibility for adults who follow the links given by others. De-Clutterbug requests that you take seriously any site with a link which may point to an area out of De-Clutterbug's control.

 De-Clutterbug: Sells items on the Client’s behalf through www.de-clutterbug.com Online Web Store Shop. At no time are the items considered the ownership of De-Clutterbug. This understanding between De-Clutterbug and the Client, who by signing the notice, the Client has authorised De-Clutterbug to sell their item(s) on the Client’s behalf.

 Item Classification: Items are listed, within the Online Web Store, with as much information as De-Clutterbug sees fit and gained from investigation, where necessary, to portray as much information to the Buyer. Clients are encouraged and requested to visit www.de-clutterbug.com to view their items and should they feel that further information on their items, for example history of purchase, where bought etc then De-Clutterbug welcomes this additional which will help in the sale of the items.  The more information that can be given to each item the better the likelihood of a sale. Buyers purchase items on trust without the experience of being able to pick up and handle first.

 Pricing of Items: De-Clutterbug invites Client’s to indicate the price that they wish to receive on the sale of their items. De-Clutterbug will adjust accordingly to account for the 25% commission on the sale of the item and at the same taking the cost of postage which includes packaging. Should the Client be unsure of the price De-Clutterbug will investigate the sale of similar items online to give an estimate on the suggested sale price. Once the Client is satisfied with the costings De-Clutterbug will list the items for sale in the shop.

 Client’s Items: For Client information; wherever possible De-Clutterbug gift wraps items which are posted or delivered by Courier, dependent on size and cost. If postage is not calculated correctly the additional cost is taken from De-Clutterbug’s 25%. So at all times the Client’s do not have to supplement any additional expenditure incurred by De-Clutterbug. Once sold the items are no longer under the ownership of the Client.  

 Online Web Store:  This is a virtual shop in all aspects barring the selling and payment of the items. As with high street shops, visitors come in, look and browse, not always making a purchase. It is important to advertise De-Clutterbug Web Store and encourage as many visitors to the shop as possible.  Confidence is achieved by the service and quality of the purchases which De-Clutterbug enforces through advertising, testimonials, feedback received, Facebook, Twitter, My Space and email blasts.

 Testimonials: Should Clients feel that they can spare a few moments to write an informative article or note, testifying to their honest experience from their point of view, with their dealings via De-Clutterbug for publication. This would be very useful and informative to Buyers and prospective Clients alike. 

 Returns to the Client: These items remain the Client’s possessions until sold. The Client is at liberty to request that items are returned – in which event: a) request notice given by Client allowing reasonable time for De-Clutterbug to withdraw items from Shop, b) a signature will be required on the given receipt, at the time of handover, to authenticate that the items listed are the possession of the Client and to confirm that all is in order.

 Returns from Buyers: Buyers are requested not to return items, as invariably the items are not returned in the same condition as when purchased, plus this entails additional charge of postage to return the goods. De-Clutterbug will issue refunds if deemed necessary to the Buyer, this will not effect the amount due or paid to the Client.

 Items Lost in Transit: Items not received by Buyers will be recompensed by De-Clutterbug. This will not effect the amount due or paid to the Client.

 Listing Items in Auction Sites or eBay:  Items may be requested by the Client(s) to be listed within Online Auction Sites or eBay but a fee is charged for this service. The listing fee will be requested up front from the Client at {see below} a) Auction price, or at b) Buy It Now. Deduction will also be made of the final value to cover the final 10% sale fee deducted by eBay.

 eBay Charges: per item:

a) Listing Fees 20p for 10-day Auction

b) 40p for 30-day Listing Buy It Now, and

c) eBay charge 10% Total Value of Sale PLUS

d) Paypal Charges 2% of each transaction

 Auction Houses: Charge Seller and Buyer Fees. Additional storage fees may also be incurred by the Auction House. Buyers invariably have to arrange their own collection and may also incur further fees for storage and handling.

 De-Clutterbug Charges: 25% of agreed Sale Price.

 De-Clutterbug Web Store:  NO listing fees, NO set time scale, NO additional charges.

 Submitted Items for Sale: All items submitted for sale must be clean, unsoiled, non-perishable (as in food stuff), no living creature (live pets), in working order and not broken. Anything De-Clutterbug deems unfit for sale will either be returned to the Client Owner or sent to Charity with permission.

 www.de-clutterbug.com De-Clutterbug relies on advertising, feedback, word and mouth recognition, to attract Buyers. De-Clutterbug is providing a service on behalf of Clients to the Buyers. Most soft toys should not be given to children under the age of 36 months.
